The article examines the unity of the teachings of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, known as the syncretism of the three teachings, which has become an integral part of the Chinese spiritual tradition, covering all spheres of development of Chinese society. The principles of the relationship between Buddhism and Taoism are outlined, on the one hand, and on the other, the contradictions of Buddhism and Confucianism. It is shown that the similarity of the ideas of Buddhism and Taoism contributed to the introduction of Buddhism in China at the early stage of the spread of Buddhism in China. The role of the state is considered power in establishing the relationship between the three teachings in imperial China and the role of the political strategy of the leadership of modern China in preserving these relationships, as well as the emerging syncretism of the three teachings with Marxist teaching in line with the political strategy of China aimed at building a harmonious world and realizing the “Chinese Dream (“Zhongguo Meng”) The characteristic features of Chinese Marxism, as well as modern Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, based on humanistic values are shown.
