«SUTRA ON IMPERMANNESS» (PREFACE, TRANSLATION FROM TIBETAN, COMMENTARY)

In the «Sutra on Impermanence» (Skt. Anityatāsūtra, Tib. mi rtag pa nyid kyi mdo), preached by Buddha Shakyamuni in the Jeta Grove in Sravasti, he talks about such a fundamental quality of samsara as impermanence, explaining it using examples of health, youth, prosperity and life. The sutra is included in the Tibetan canon (Toh 309, Deges Kangyur, T. 72 (mdo sde, sa), l. 155a–155b).
