The possibility of considering the structure-forming role of Buddhist monasteries, as well as in Christian civilization, in the context of the \u00abnetwork\u00bb paradigm is noted. It is predicted that the Buddhist civilization will preserve its position in the 21st century in the areas of its traditional distribution and strengthen its influence beyond their borders.
