The fundamental sources and commentary literature are identified. Student education begins with a preliminary study of logic and epistemology, then proceeds to the study of the five great treatises that form the core of the curriculum. It has been established that in order to understand the subjects studied in the monastery, they generally rely on the educational manuals compiled by Jamyan Shepe Dorje.
